Your Bridge Programme
Our bridge programmes will vary according to the length of your break, and, in addition to playing bridge, we try to include interesting bridge seminars, hosted by your EBU-qualified director.
Your duplicate bridge will be available every evening between 7:45pm and 11:15pm. We endeavour to vary these evening sessions, balancing between teams and pairs and featuring at least one Swiss event during a two-week break.
Bridge will also be offered some mornings or afternoons. These sessions are normally given over to open pairs/teams.
Masterpoints are awarded on evening bridge sessions, and on day sessions with over 5 tables.
We also try to include interesting bridge seminars as part of your programme, hosted by your EBU-qualified director.
During your holiday, nothing is obligatory, and you can play in as many or as few bridge sessions as you wish. We don’t forget you are on holiday and our bridge programme also allows time to relax, giving you the opportunity to explore the surrounding area.
Free Time
When you are not in the bridge room, enjoy the fabulous facilities this beautiful resort hotel has to offer. Bathe in the pools, treat yourself to a treatment in the spa, or simply walk through the lush tropical gardens, breathing in the aroma, and admiring the cascade of colours of the exotic plants.
This luxurious resort is ideally located in the centre of Playa de Mogan, known as the Little Venice of Gran Canaria, as it is built on a network of canals. The colourful houses in the pretty little town and around its picturesque harbourside are abundant with flowers and bougainvillea of every colour.
The beach is known for its golden sands, crystal clear waters, and backdrop of rugged cliffs. Visitors can explore the seafront promenade with its shops, restaurants, and vibrant atmosphere. Not to be missed on a Friday is the street market that takes place outside the hotel and meanders down towards the harbour. Haggle for local products, souvenirs, crafts, and leather goods, and traditional Canarian products such as cheeses, wines, pottery, and woven baskets.
If you wish to venture further afield, the bus station is just a short walk from your hotel, and has excellent links all over the island. Alternatively, take one of the many boat trips on offer at the colourful marina. Jump on the regular ferry boat for a scenic sail around the coastline to Puerto Rico, enjoying some more serious shopping and a change of scenery.
