If you are comfortable with the basics of bridge and prefer friendly sessions, our Relaxed Bridge holidays are perfect for you. Suited for more novice players from non-affiliated clubs, or for anyone who wishes to ease themselves back into the game and progress their skills at a slower pace, these holidays focus on enjoyment and building confidence in a social environment. The programme also includes interactive seminars where you'll play hands based on the topic, offering a great way to step up to the next level of bridge. No Masterpoints will be awarded.

Enjoy a morning seminar followed by a free afternoon to relax at the hotel or explore the local area. Worthing is 15 miles away, Chichester is 8 miles away, and Arundel is only 5 miles from the hotel.

This morning, we journey by coach for an included visit to Petworth House. Spanning 900 years of history and passing through just one family, Petworth House came from humble medieval origins before being transformed during the 17th century into a grand mansion to rival the palaces of Europe. With influential guests including royalty and celebrated artists, Petworth’s rich history has left its mark through the centuries. Not your average country home, the family line remains unbroken, and descendants still live at Petworth House today.
State rooms in the house feature a vast collection of paintings and sculptures, including artwork by van Dyck, Turner, Reynolds and Gainsborough. Outside, the gardens feature formal borders, woodland walks, and architectural features, such as the Ionic Rotunda, the 700-acre Deer Park, which was transformed in the 1750’s and early 1760’s by landscape architect Lancelot ‘Capability Brown and is home to ancient trees and fallow deer.
You will enjoy free time to explore the house at gardens at leisure, and maybe visit the Audit Room Café and the Petworth House shop.
We return to the hotel by coach this afternoon and enjoy dinner followed by evening bridge.
This morning, we enjoy a morning bridge session before an afternoon at leisure, allowing you the chance to either relax or explore the local area further.
After dinner, we include evening bridge in the hotel.
After a leisurely breakfast, it is time to check out and depart for home.
