Our base for this tour, the Doubletree by Hilton Oxford Belfry Hotel, is ideally located in 17 acres of beautiful grounds in the glorious Oxford countryside. Take the Park and Ride into the University City of Oxford and visit the Covered Market and Botanical Gardens or less than 30 minutes' drive from the hotel is the Blenheim Palace and Bicester Village. We play bridge in the spacious University Suite and, in your free time, why not enjoy a dip in the pool or pamper yourself at the Elemis Spa?

Your Bridge Programme
Our bridge programmes will vary according to the length of your break, and, in addition to playing bridge, we try to include interesting bridge seminars, hosted by your EBU-qualified director.
Your duplicate bridge will be available every evening between 7:45pm and 11:15pm. We endeavour to vary these evening sessions, balancing between teams and pairs and featuring at least one Swiss event during a two-week break.
Bridge will also be offered some afternoons between 2:30pm and 4:45pm. These sessions are normally given over to open pairs/teams.
Masterpoints are awarded on evening bridge sessions, and on day sessions with over 5 tables.
During your bridge holiday, nothing is obligatory, and you can play in as many or as few bridge sessions as you wish. We don’t forget you are on holiday and our bridge programmes also allow time to relax, giving the opportunity for you to explore the surrounding area.
Join our bridge team and your fellow players at the hotel for a welcome drink before dinner and evening bridge.
There will be a singles meeting to find a bridge partner if needed.
